About us
Since 1953, Dr. Jean Bausch GmbH & Co. KG has specialized in manufacturing special articulating and occlusion test materials and offers an extensive range of different articulating papers and articulating films in different shapes, sizes and colours.
Bausch products are used in more than 120 countries and sold by distributors and the subsidiaries in the U.S.A., Australia, Japan and Brazil.
The new system OccluSense®, developed by Bausch combines the traditional and digital method of registration of the pressure distribution on occlusal surfaces. The OccluSense device is being used in combination with a 60 micron thin single-use pressure sensor, colour coated in red, and is being applied exactly like a conventional occlusion test foil.
The patient's masticatory pressure distribution is being recorded digitally in 256 pressure levels being displayed with the OccluSense® iPad App.
The traditional colour transfer on the occlusal surfaces facilitates the assignment of the recorded data.
